Sad, really. Seeing humanity being exterminated like that. Set upon, and wiped out by alien powers infinitely more powerful, and advanced than it could ever have hoped to have been. Apparently, the distant eyes of Odin and Thor, and any other absent protectors of you Midgardians fell shut in your hour of need. [He gives a woeful little sigh.]

If only there had been someone... some being who might have known how to compete with such a threat. Some watchful ruler, who could have summoned armies from the air in your defense. Who could have spent the many long eons before this tragedy befell mankind, advancing your civilization to the point where you were a world that would stand unassailable.

[He gives a helpless, sympathetic shrug.]

That wasn't an argument so much as a talking point. My actual argument is that there's always a bigger fish. That doesn't give them the right to do shit, including kicking your ass all over the Barge just because you're an Inmate.

There's a whole ocean of bigger fish. Let's say the ogre does come here, and does try to shatter my bones again, in this instance would it then be wrong for you to have forcefully taken custody of me, with your weapon? Even though doing so saved my life?

And I know that your control over me here isn't an act of conscious force on your part, but for the sake of argument what if it was?
