Sad, really. Seeing humanity being exterminated like that. Set upon, and wiped out by alien powers infinitely more powerful, and advanced than it could ever have hoped to have been. Apparently, the distant eyes of Odin and Thor, and any other absent protectors of you Midgardians fell shut in your hour of need. [He gives a woeful little sigh.]

If only there had been someone... some being who might have known how to compete with such a threat. Some watchful ruler, who could have summoned armies from the air in your defense. Who could have spent the many long eons before this tragedy befell mankind, advancing your civilization to the point where you were a world that would stand unassailable.

If there ever was a world built on the rule that might makes right, then it is Asgard. Perhaps it could stand to know the feeling of being stamped upon.

And in case you have not noticed, here we are already leashed. If you treat me like a student and not a prisoner then we both know it is only on your desire to do so. If I was assigned to one of the heroes who brought me here do you think they'd allow me to entertain the same illusion?

Not necessarily, but what does that prove? If they're going to hold a grudge, I think your attempt to conquer Earth isn't a bad reason to do it.

Your argument against what I have said, was that by my reasoning, should one who is strong enough to dominate and rule over me come here, it would be inevitable for me to be ruled.

That wasn't an argument so much as a talking point. My actual argument is that there's always a bigger fish. That doesn't give them the right to do shit, including kicking your ass all over the Barge just because you're an Inmate.
