There are a million reasons for everything that happened. Why did I antagonize the beast? Why was the creature there in the first place? Why was I there in the first place?

I never intended to answer them all, and I still don't. The piece of truth which I give you for this is that I antagonized a monstrosity, doubted my mortality, and was proven wrong.
